Preventing road traffic collisions and reducing the casualty toll on our roads is a complex business. The Casualty Reduction Partnership brings together key agencies with responsibility for safety on our roads. By taking a multi-agency strategic approach to casualty reduction we are able to use the wide range of expertise, skills and knowledge of each partner agency to address local problems in a coordinated manner.

Ultimately, all road users are responsible for safety on our roads.

The Partnership is governed by a steering group comprising senior officers from:

Highways Agency
Bedfordshire and Luton Fire and Rescue Service
Bedfordshire Police
Her Majesty's Courts Service

We also work with many associate organisations, community groups and local companies on specific initiatives.
