Ride Free 2012

Ride Free! The motorcycle event returned for its second year and was held on Sunday 1st April at Redborne Upper School, Flitwick Road, Ampthill, Bedfordshire, MK45 2NU.

The event started at 10am and over 1000 attendee’s once again raised money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and generous bikers from all over Bedfordshire helped raise £1080.00 – enough to fund an emergency flight!

Bikers of all levels of experience were able to find out about various types of training and skills advancement including the National ‘Get on Scheme’, Bikesafe assessed rides, the Enhanced Rider scheme and Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists, as well as local retailers who enabled riders to view and buy the latest motorbike gear.

The event attracted even more riders and raised more money for the Air Ambulance than last year’s event, so a huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and had a thoroughly great day out and we look forward to seeing you next year
