Every October the clocks go back an hour, which means that the evenings are darker and nights are longer.
Central Bedfordshire and Luton Road safety teams are looking to give away sets of bike lights * at various locations near the busway across the month of November. Along with sets of bike lights 'Dr Bike' will be also be at the events offering mechanical support for anymore who has any issues with their bicyles and will assist in repairing them where possible.

16th November 5pm-6pm Luton Airport Parkway train station
17th November 12noon-1pm L&D Hosiptal
29th November 5pm-6pm A5 junction Capron Road
30th November 5pm-6pm College Drive
1st December 5pm-6pm Church st, Dunstable
* The lights are limited to one per customer and while stocks last. Road safety information will also be distributed at the event.
To be seen on dull days wear bright or fluorescent colours. special high-visibility tabards and other clothing can be bought from many retailer
Fluorescent armbands can also be worn over coats and other clothing
Bags are also available in bright colours or with high-visibility strips
If walking near traffic at night reflective clothing is recommended
Reflective clothing reflects light from car and bike headlamps
Reflective armbands and clothing can be bought for children and adults
Remember that fluorescent colours do not show up in the dark
